Lent & Easter Combo Experience - April 5th & May 3rd
April 5th & May 3rd
St George Greek Orthodox Church | 1111 Summit Ave, St. Paul, MN
9:00am-11:30am | Coffee Included
Death and resurrection are the two sides of Easter. Through the observance of Lent the church focuses on the weightier matters of sin and death as preparation to feel the joy and hope of the other side of Easter - resurrection.
Come to a two part experience at St George Greek Orthodox Church to pause and get in touch more deeply with the two sides of Easter. We will have an immersive experience during Lent when the church is decorated with darker, heavier colors and has a more muted feel. And a second experience when the church is full of flowers and more brilliant colors to help us have a sense of weight lifted through resurrection and renewal.
“For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we shall certainly be united with him in a resurrection like his.” - Romans 6:5
