Lent Experience - April 5th

$35.00

April 5th

St George Greek Orthodox Church | 1111 Summit Ave, St. Paul, MN

9:00am-11:30am | Coffee Included

Death and resurrection are the two sides of Easter. Through the observance of Lent the church pays particular attention to sin and death as preparation to feel the joy and hope of resurrection.

During Lent the sanctuary at St George is decorated with darker, heavier colors to help sober us to sin and wake us up to grace. This immersive experience includes a tour and explanation of the Lenten decor in the church and a prayerful time of individual silence and solitude in the space.

“For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we shall certainly be united with him in a resurrection like his.” - Romans 6:5
